This crowned herb rules sunny, fertile and moist soil. Citizens have seen this royalty ruling slopes standing regal at 2 meters tall; preventing soil erosion.

Unlike other pompous royalty, cosmos thrives with little help. They preside for nine months outside of the tropics. If unguarded, will conquer the surrounding land — punishing weeds from growing.

Its sovereign status, ‘King’s Salad’ translated — ‘Ulam Raja’ comes from Malaysia. The young leaves/stems offer a peppery lemony taste, which is a MUST for the local Ulam dish. It’s said to contain an imperial class of minerals and antioxidants.

Elsewhere, the even balance royal petals stole the hearts of Spanish priests, leading it to be named ‘Cosmos’; symbolizing order and harmony with the universe.
