Finally, the weather has been warm enough to venture out without a sweater. It’s incredible how much plant growth has occurred in just one week.
Bulbs have burst into colourful glory. The grass has turned a rich, lush green and the dandelions are poking through, inviting pollinators to stop by and feed from them.
Dead-looking trees have suddenly come to life. Nodules have erupted into delicate blooms.
Best of all? I discovered animal and human life!
A cardinal sat high in a tree, singing his heart out. A plump marmot scuttled between gardens, happy there’s more to nibble on. A cat looked enviously out the window, and people were outside tending to their gardens.
It’s these simple sights that make my heart sing.
