Accentuate the positive no matter how small
“Have you seen my home keys?” my husband asked, his eyes darting around the room.
“Where did you last put them?” I inquired.
“In the usual place,” he replied.
Wanting to help, I asked our son to check his bag, just in case. After a quick rummage, he triumphantly returned with the keys in hand.
“Sorry, Dad, I thought they were mine,” he confessed sheepishly.
“Well done, you found them!” my husband praised, his face lighting up with a smile.
As I went back to my tasks, something struck me. Even the smallest positive occurrences can hold great significance. By acknowledging these moments, no matter how minor, we uplift others and recognize the good in everyday actions. This simple habit of accentuating the positive can significantly impact our daily lives.
