The Daily Cuppa

After two weeks of relaxation, I’m finding it hard to be motivated.

For two weeks my life was eat, sleep, soak up the sun, and stare at the ocean. It was great.

Now it’s back to reality. Schoolwork is due, Sophia's classes need doing, and if I want this book published by end of the year, I need to get a move on.

But I don’t wanna! I wanna go back to the beach and soak up more sun. I didn’t get near enough.

Guess it’s time to put the big girl panties on and get to work.

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?

My 7 New Year’s Resolutions

Alt text: On the tempered glass of a misty car window, someone has finger-painted the year “2022.” They’ve drawn a little heart after the final “2,” and through the window, you can see a sunset. This, I think, is what we are all doing: sending each other hearts through the glass.
