Do you take the boat from Ancona? Try to have some time to visit this city!
We didn’t stay long, unfortunately. Just the time to go to the port. The warm color of the city’s facades gave me a feeling of well-being.
Ancona is the capital of the Marche region, located at the foot of Mount Conero. From here, many sea routes lead to Greece, Croatia, and Albania.
You can admire the numerous monuments of this city which stretches upwards, allowing a beautiful view from the port. The spotlighting of the monuments is like an invitation to the passing traveler:
“Hey, stop for a while, take the time to visit and appreciate my treasures!”
We should do so.
