Autumn Poem

Roberta Mirtha Maddeleine wrote a charming acrostic poem to celebrate Autumn. So I thought I’d give it a go.

As I rest my head for a long winter’s nap

Upon my feather bed, I sink into

Tufted bedding and pillows

Until, in my cocoon, I slumber under the

Moon, and dream of flowers scenting the air

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?
