Bare Trees Reveal Beautiful Creatures
They enhance our ability to enjoy beautiful birds
The world explodes into life in spring, and by summer, it shines vibrantly. Yet, as a bird lover, the mid-autumn through early spring period reveals a different beauty.
By early November, trees in Minnesota have shed their leaves, making landscapes appear barren, drab, and lifeless.
However, consider the birds who reside here year-round. They are easier to find and watch on trees without leaves. They provide beauty and grace through movement, color, and sound.
Birds like northern cardinals, white-breasted nuthatches, and red-bellied woodpeckers enhance their surroundings year-round. But in the dormant months, they stand out more than ever. They hop, fly, flutter, sing, and forage for food. Seeing and hearing them excites the senses.
Birds add joy to life any time of the year.
