Bookmarking My Day with Journaling
The habit I’m longing to cultivate

I’m creating the habit of waking up and writing my top 3 priorities of the day instead of checking my phone. I’m also journaling a free-write for 15 minutes. Both are important: planning and getting your mindset right before the day starts.
At night, I review everything I’ve written down that day. I spend time thinking about what the most constant thoughts and feelings were. I can go on to process those more fully and see if any adjustments need to be made.
Journaling is what grounds me and is one of my most important self-care practices.
