Boys will be boys — and boy, do they ever love their machines.

My husband, Ed, will stand for hours watching cranes move heavy loads and bulldozers excavate and level. While I prefer to view lush greenery, he has a love for all things construction.

One day while parking my car, I saw this machine mangling concrete. Powerfully and methodically, it was ripping up the ground. I thought of Ed.

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?
