You can always tell cat people

I don’t know what it is about carrying cats through an airport, but people have to stop and coo over them. The dogs don’t get the same treatment. It’s probably because seeing a cat on a flight is still a novelty.

Lots of people stopped to tell us how cute, adorable, and sweet the kittens were.

But the best was the pilot who stopped to see them. Hurrying on his way to his plane, he stopped in his tracks. “Are those cats?”

He bent down to see them, completely unconcerned about getting fur on his crisp white shirt and black uniform.

He told us all about his tuxedo cat, and how the worst part of his job was leaving him behind. (Not the girlfriend who watched him.)

I guess people really do resemble their pets.
