Awake at three.
With only the stars as company.
Alone with my thoughts.
The good, the bad, the memories, the what-might-have-been.
I still miss him.
No matter what I do.
It’s hardest when I’m alone.
At night, in bed.
With only the TV as company.
To distract me from my waking dreams.
Out here there’s only emptiness…
