Cat Versus Gecko

Spoiler alert — cat wins

I was at my desk, working, when the younger cat thundered into the room at high speed. She raced past me into the bathroom.

Did I glimpse something dark in front of her?

I got up to look. Sure enough, she was chasing something. It wasn’t a beetle, or a spider. It was a gecko.
