Did you see Barb Dalton’s post titled “Writer’s Assistant Required”?

I get how overwhelming it is to manage Medium’s notifications, engage with writers’ posts, comment, and clap.

I was there. Until I took a deep breath (sometimes I need to follow my own advice, no?). Took control of my mailbox.

  • I set up filters and labels in my Gmail for Medium and the publications I edit for. (Submissions for the Illumination group stream in).
  • I archive without flooding the inbox and just glance at the label once a day — and empty it, thus keeping it clean and manageable.
  • This saves time, keeps me stress-free to enjoy interacting.

So — if you would like help with setting this up, reach out to me. I am trustworthy and dependable.

Oh, no compensation is required. D’uh!

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?
