Do you remember back when cell phone batteries could last for weeks? Somehow it seems like centuries have passed since then. They don’t make ’em like they used to!

I forgot to charge my phone the night before, so when I woke up the next day and drove to work, it only had 5% left — down to 2% when I got to work.

How unfortunate it would be if I were to miss a call for a potential job interview just because I forgot to charge my phone!

Roughly an hour later into my work-shift, it showed 0%.

How can my battery be 0% and still be on? Maybe it’s 0,999? I figured it would shut down sooner or later.

Turns out I was wrong.

Who knew that 0% battery on power saving mode could actually last for 7 hours — granted you don’t actually use your phone.
