Dogwoods still flowering in JULY? Yes! We’ve got ’em.

A neighbor has a beautiful tree in her front yard that makes passersby do double takes in July. It looks like a dogwood in full bloom.

But the more familiar Flowering Dogwoods bloom in early spring, a season that typically begins here on the Gulf Coast in late February and in cooler regions in March. Either way, the flowers are usually long gone by July.
