Earth Day Update

I did my tiny part for Earth Day. I ran into four others who were doing the same.

I went to two beaches.

I’m proud to report that both beaches were so clean I didn’t get much after walking 1.5 miles.

So, I picked up trash in the parking lots; there was plenty dumped out of car windows.

But, I noticed the 123 canisters of low-grade nuclear waste at the old San Onofre power plant are still sitting on the beach. I wrote to both my Senator and Congressman five months ago about this.

They never responded.

But I am happy to report how clean the beaches were.

I logged my entry, and I look forward to seeing the final results.
