I’ve shown you how to locate graphics that contain your brand colors. What if you want a background that is truly ‘on brand’ then try using your name, your book title, Twitter handle, web address, etc. It’s not difficult at all.

And… of course, I did it in Canva! Here’s how (scroll for video) —

  1. Choose your desired graphic size.
  2. Add brand color as background
  3. Click ‘Text’ in left menu
  4. Type your words in desired font and color
  5. Adjust transparency down to about 20 (the text should look faded)
  6. Use duplicate icon to copy and add
  7. Drag that text-box to desired spot
  8. Repeat until filled

And these steps have shades of adjustment all done to taste, kinda like salt and pepper. 😄
