Finding Time for Fitness
A quick chat that reminded me: health is about making time, not finding it
I ran into an Amazon delivery guy in the lift after a long run last Sunday. He saw me sweating and asked if I work out a lot. I said, “Yeah, I just ran 32 kilometers.”
He raised his eyebrows in surprise and asked my age. He laughed when I said 40 and asked me to guess his. I took a shot: “32?” He smiled, “Actually, I am 27 years old, sir, but I don’t find time to workout.”
I laughed, “well, you can run to each delivery!” He chuckled, but both of us had a moment of realization.
We are all busy with our commitments, but fitness isn’t about finding time. It’s about moving, making health a priority.
The conditions will never be perfect enough for you to get started. It needs commitment. It is the best investment you can make, so invest that tiny amount on yourself.
