Galway Is Hopping on a Friday Night
We’ve spent the last three days in Galway, Ireland.
Galway is hospitable and friendly. We’ve learned that there are two universities here and that the city’s population goes up by 30,000 when the students return.
Thursday is a big night out, as is the rest of the weekend. When we returned from our day trips, we found the city to be hopping.
Tonight, we stopped at a local place for fish and chips. It was fun and loud, sharing an outdoor communal table with other tourists. A man with a golden retriever sat nearby and the dog won everyone’s hearts and some fish.
By the time we returned each day, my phone was dead. My camera holds the busy Galway shots. As soon as I download them, I’ll be able to share more about our trip and what we saw.
