Giggles in the Garden: Questions From a New Gardener, and a Tip

--

Does the wasp I sprayed with cheap hairspray and squashed have a family plotting to come after me?

If they have not stung you, you are safe. But if you kill another wasp, I may come after you with a can of cheap hairspray.

There are pieces of plastic and tin in the mulch I just put down! Should I bag it back up and return it?

Pick up the pieces? No, but you can return the unopened bags. Do not purchase mulch from the same place. Check the source of bagged mulch and consult local gardeners. I like to check an open bag for texture.

What is that little thing in my tea?

A tea thingie.

Just pick it out.

Tip.

Wasps are helpful in the garden and will not bother you if you leave them alone. Do not wave your arms. You will scare them, and they will protect themselves.

Happy writing and happy gardening.
Katie
