Gourmet Egg Sandwiches
A superb chef
Mojo’s, a new bakery/café, finally opened after months of eager anticipation.
My husband took me for brunch. Their menus hadn’t arrived yet, so we went with simple. I ordered an egg sandwich, and he ordered scrambled eggs.
The chef came out to personally discuss what we wanted. I was like, “Eggs, cheese, bacon, bread.” He asked if I wanted avocado, because there was a dish on the menu that sounded similar, except it had avocado.
This was not a simple egg sandwich. From the first bite, I was transported to heaven. It had eggs, cheese, thick bacon, and yes, avocado. But it also had tomato slices, caramelized onions, fresh leaf lettuce, and a delicious mystery sauce. All on a freshly baked multigrain roll.
It even came with sides of roast tomato and hash browns. Everything was amazing.
