Don’t break the chain!
I’m beginning to create the monthly spreads for September. The first one I wanted to create was a gratitude log. I’ve tried to do gratitude sections in my daily spreads but found I was on and off again with it.
So, I decided for September to try playing don’t break the chain. It’s a method attributed to Jerry Seinfield. It’s the idea of putting an x over the days you complete a specific task. Only in this instance, it’s not an x but a blank line.
This method eventually helps in building long-term habits. As you see the chain build, you don’t want to break it. It’s a method that has worked for me in the past. I’m hoping it will work again.
