Half Smile (or Full Smile) Meditation
Quick stress relief
When your day’s ‘busyness’ starts to get to you, do this:
- Sit comfortably.
- Take a couple of deep breaths.
- Now slowly turn the sides of your mouth up for a small smile.
- Then, relax your face into a serene look.
- Do your emotions change when your face messages your brain?
Alternatively, look in a mirror.
- Make a peace sign with your first and middle fingers.
- Now with these fingers, push the sides of your mouth up into a funny smile.
- Feel free to burst out laughing.
Life is serious enough. Take this moment to laugh it off.
