For me, Halloween isn’t just one day (or 31). It’s a lifestyle.
My favorite books to read (and review): horror, mystery, thriller and fantasy
My favorite color to wear: black, followed by grey
My favorite scents: campfire, dragon’s blood, vanilla
I try to keep Halloween alive a little bit each day. After all, it’s all about the whimsy and fantastical. Halloween is home.
It’s been a strange and wonderful experience branching out to short fiction before the holiday this year. It was mixing something I’m familiar with and something I don’t feel I’m good at, but wanting to break out of my comfort zone. Also, I can’t promise I’m done writing them.
