Step 1: Buy a pair of roller skates

Step 2: Practice at dawn

No one will witness your baby deer phase.

Step 3: Cruise around a skate park during quiet hours

Avoid all ramps and obstacles for a bit. No one cares.

Step 4: Fall a lot

This one is really important.

Get some safety gear. Roller skating is honestly just an excuse to fall in front of other people. Any similar activity, ripe with opportunities for failure, will do.

Step 5: Live for the skate park

You‘ll need to dream about it… wish you could conquer her curves… be willing to risk life and limb for the thrill.

Step 6: Begin caring more about reaching your next goal — be it skate trick or job offer — than falling in front of other people
