I don’t read in my genre! How does that happen?

I was in the Mastermind call today getting feedback on my landing page and call to action and I said, “I don’t read in my genre!”

That’s a problem.

My genre is darker YA themes. I know the comp titles. I’ve tried to read them. I get about ten-fifteen pages in and nope right out of them. I can’t do it. I’m a weenie.

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?
