I just found out I have 99 followers on Medium. I was feeling quite chuffed until I clicked on one of my followers. He/she hasn’t written a single thing and has 48 followers!
Lesson learned: don’t be filled with self-importance. Statistics aren’t everything. Just write and enjoy yourself. You’re not going to be graded on what you write. (Thank goodness!)
