I overheard the following exchange while sitting in my favorite coffee shop.
“What are their names?”
“Okay. So, they’re family names.”
I almost choked on my coffee.
This warning before sharing the names of her children… the apprehension in her voice? I wanted to give her a hug. I was struggling not to laugh out loud at the ridiculousness of it.
