I picked flowers before my daily Medium reading time and then read some excellent advice on photo selections.

You can see I’m not a photographer and I don’t give two hoots for how I arrange my daily blooms. I just plunk.

But when entertaining (Do I remember entertaining?) I fuss them into something glamorous.

After reading Susan Brearley’s article on photo selection I feel better about using my own photos. I’ve used the three pics she uses as examples — lazy me.

Getting the Attention of the Curators

I don’t have a great camera or training, but at least my photos are fresh. And usually freshly picked.

We can shine just as we are while we entertain with our words.
