We noticed an odd thing when we returned to Colorado. Random people would approach us and engage us in conversation.

And they were truly random. The person bagging our groceries at the store started describing her prize-winning dessert recipe, which was low-carb and low-sugar. We were buying eggs, milk, and cupcakes.
