I have never been fired before. But if I were, I would clean out my desk as fast as I could.

If I thought I might be fired I would clear my desk of anything I wanted to protect.

When I am given money for work I have this crazy idea that I have an arrangement with my boss. That is how it has been all my life. When I was self-employed I had agreements with those who contracted for my work.
