I’m Looking for 10 Animals
We have two
I zipped through immigration at St. Kitts. I was the only resident/citizen on my flight. Everyone else went through the very, very long visitors’ line.
After immigration, I knew we’d get our bags, have the vet clear the cats, then exit through customs.
But our flight was 3 hours late. Was the vet still there? Did he need to be called back?
As I waited for my friend, the vet introduced himself.
“Do you just have the one?”
“Two. The other one is still in line.”
“I’m looking for ten.”
“Sorry, I haven’t seen the other eight.”
Just then, my friend came down the stairs. The vet inspected the kittens, my friend grabbed the luggage, I paid the vet, and we were on our way.
The vet went off to search for his eight additional pets.
