It’s A Spinning Your Wheels Type Day

This morning was busy, but this afternoon I cannot seem to focus

This morning entailed going to our local library’s book sale. For $10.00 my husband and I walked away with two bagfuls of books — enough to sustain us for a while.

Then I took him on an adventure. We drove to find a bog in the nearby National Forest. But, since it was unplanned, I didn’t have directions; without GPS, we couldn’t find it. We agreed to try again tomorrow.

Then, home for lunch. It’s cool here today, as I wrote in my weather wondering piece yesterday — feels like fall. We took the dog and headed out on a four-mile hike. By 1:30 pm, I had my 10,000 steps for the day.

But, now? Now, I’m spinning my wheels and haven’t been able to finish anything I’ve started.
