Jammy Pie Bars Win!

A sweet success

For our party, I also made a dessert. Jammy Pie Bars, from the Weeknight Baking cookbook. They’re an easy version of a fruit pie.

They have a shortbread crust, which required softening two sticks of butter to room temperature, and dragging out my stand mixer. Fortunately, I already had pie weights.
