Many years ago, my then-boyfriend attended jewelry classes at college. I watched while he buffed and polished a silver pin he made of a Canadian Goose.

At first, the piece was drab and lacked lustre and beauty.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t see the magnificence that hid within the art. Instead, I could only see what was before me.

Once polished, the pin was outstanding, and my boyfriend received a high grade.
