Minnesota State Fair Arrives Early for Kick-Off to Summer
Fun times at the fair
Minnesotans and visitors can experience the Minnesota State Fair before late summer.
Besides mid-August through Labor Day, usual end-of-summer event. We have an appetizer, kick-off to summer during Memorial Day weekend.
I visited on May 25th and enjoyed must-haves, Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar, and Fresh French Fries.
Sweet Martha’s is a chocolate chip gooey goodness with fudge that gets on your fingers. You can buy ready-to-bake Sweet Martha’s at Target or try online recipes. There’s something special about a cone of Martha’s cookie bits with the fun of the fair surrounding you.
Perfect fries at Fresh French Fries were the usual treat.
Kick-off is less crowded. Not all areas of the fairgrounds opened, but enough for my entertainment. A fabulous time indeed!
