Monday Moments: Episode 10 - Ghost TV Shows
I used to be obsessed with Ghost Hunting shows.
My favourite parts were when the Medium would show up.
They were like a “Secret Weapon”.
They were wheeled in like Hannibal Lecter on his straightjacket trolly, ready to be let loose on a poor, unsuspecting poltergeist.
Every encounter had the same ingredients.
*In Scene*
The Medium closes their eyes…
The Medium declares “I sense a presence in this house…”
(Considering in the house with the Medium is a TV host, 3 members of the camera crew, a Celebrity, and a Media Van outside. “A presence” does not come as a shock.)
The Medium/Ghost says, “WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE!”
(Always in an Old English Accent)
Finally… The Medium Passes out…

Sometimes you need to accept that “Crap Telly”, is another name for “Guilty Pleasure Telly”
