Christmas vibes
Those days, I detested the Christmas holidays. Everything was coloured pink for us, a bunch of romantic teenagers! Vacation meant, curtailing the freedom and fun we explored in the campus and canteens.
There was no internet or phone. And, we never had enough money or courage to call from the public telephone booths.
All we could do was spend the piggy bank coins on buying cute little Christmas cards for each other. I wrote romantic messages and heartfelt greetings for friends on the cards and dropped them in the red painted post box. Then, it was time to wait for the Postman, to bring cards sent by my friends.
