This morning I listened to Symphony №9. by Beethoven.

There is no doubt why this is the anthem of the European Union. Even though I cannot eliminate the lyrics from my memory, the music itself is powerful and elevating.

On the contrary, the Hungarian national anthem is full of sorrow, loss, and depression. This symphony is full of positivity, it’s about togetherness.

To me, the message is that if we stand together, we will always achieve more than alone. Becoming enemies will ruin us and will ruin this world.

Music has its universal meaning, in this case, celebrating life, and learning from each other with respect.

Listen to the Ode to Joy and let me know how you feel about that.
