Our mind is a powerful thing. This is nothing new. I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know.

But what drives our panic? Is it ignorance?

I’m a very anxious person. So I’d say I’m justified in my fears and can list all the reasons each thing is dangerous.

However, my pronounced fears diminish when a greater threat appears.
