Recently, I had the pleasure of revisiting my all-time favourite book, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey.

One of the standout ideas that Covey brings to light is the notion of a paradigm shift.

A paradigm is the frame of reference that describes the way we see something. Two people can look at the same situation and, based on their paradigms, come to entirely different yet equally valid conclusions.

Covey argues that to grow and evolve, we need to be willing to expand our horizons and reevaluate our perspectives.

Paradigms are the hidden architects of our lives. They silently guide our thoughts and shape our responses.

Recognizing the power of paradigms and our ability to shift them gives us the key to personal growth.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. — Wayne Dyer
