Playing at the Water Park
Cool fun in hot weather
Last week, I can’t remember which day, one of the really hot ones, we all ventured to the Petrie Water Park. It’s free for everyone and provides plenty of shade and seating for us grannies to sit and chat, which I did, but next time I’m wearing my togs, a hat and plenty of sunscreen!
It looked to be such cool fun. Maybe I’m entering a second childhood, but fun isn’t out of my vocabulary yet. Keeley bought a picnic so we didn’t have to go anywhere to buy anything. It was a delicious mix of fruit, wraps, crackers and cheese. The picnic basket was empty when we left to go home.
