I always look forward to recalling treasured moments on Mother’s Day. What better way to honor Mother’s Day than spending time with your mother or remembering her?

As the weather turns warmer, I love to gather my loved ones around the kitchen table and whip up some delicious dishes and stories to celebrate the holiday.

To help you enjoy this time, I’ve pulled together some of my favorite poems and stories I written over the years. Perhaps they will help you recall some of your treasured moments.

Enjoy.

  1. Mamá Sends Them With All Her Love
  2. Dancing Barefoot, Pedro Infante’s Music, and Me
  3. A Cast Iron Memory of My Mamá-Poetic Memoir: In the words of the grape picker’s daughter.
  4. When Mopping Used To Be Fun
  5. My Mother Was in Our Garden Today
