Practice Mindfulness In Moments That Are “Off”
Wouldn't it be great if our lives were filled with nothing but joy and inspiration? But that’s not realistic, is it?
What about those moments that are “off”?
Today, be alert to moments when negativity or friction creeps in.
Maybe it is when someone cuts you off in traffic.
Or when something at work isn’t going well.
Or lunch sucks.
No matter how trivial or extreme the issue, can you use mindfulness in that moment?
Can you be present to your state of resistance?
Can you observe your feelings without judgment?
What happens when you make that kind of effort?
