Roots simmered to a nutritious broth scream from the opened refrigerator door. “Brew me into a stew.” So, beef and mushrooms it is.

In your cauldron or slow cooker, put 2–3 pounds of whatever roast beef is on sale.

Add
2 cups of root broth for a nutrient feast or any broth you have
1 cup onions chopped
1 pinch sea salt and 2 twists of the pepper grinder
1 tablespoon astragalus root powder or cornstarch
