The Daily Cuppa

Sometimes we need to get our hands dirty first.

Yesterday, I asked my son if he wanted to help plant our container garden. He scrunched his face up. I took that as a “no.”

Later, during device time, he came outside and said all parents’ favorite two words: “I’m bored.” I swallowed back a sarcastic response and gestured at the potting soil and baby plants around me.

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?
