Beyond fonts and backgrounds, you have many more options to accentuate the words in your graphic. I introduced the Elements feature in Canva a few weeks ago.

We’re back there again this week, trying to give your text-heavy graphic some pizzazz. What’s not to love about squigglies and sparkle?!?

Let’s start from scratch:
1) Pick a background color.
2) Add your text in a contrasting color.
3) Fiddle with its placement, to your liking.
4) Click on Elements in the left menu.
5) Scroll and dream.
6) Or search for a shape that fits the mood of your text (or yours!)
7) Click it. It’ll pop into your graphic’s center.
8) Move and resize to make it fit.
9) Here’s how I made both styles below.
10) Time to play!
