Imagine my surprise when I got to know the complete version— a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one!
Similarly, blood is thicker than water has been synonymous with family coming first. So, imagine how mind-blowing this revelation was — ‘The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.’
Turns out every teacher who ever told us not to eliminate random words from definitions and explanations was absolutely right… As a wise person once said, misunderstandings are the worst of all understandings.
