The Dirty Sock, Or Shoe, Mystery?

One dirty sock…why? — **One dirty sock, twice over…why?** Image by author

As you can see from the photo, one of my socks is relatively clean, whilst the other is anything but.

The dirty sock on the left is the second dirty sock that came out of the right jogger. The first time it happened, the sock was even filthier.
