The Timeless Comfort of Printed Pages
Less screen, more serenity
Books have been a timeless treasure I always run back to — especially with so many screens around us, the comfort of these printed words on paper. This tangible copy calls to me to take my time, spend some time with the text.
No blue light or constant notification bombardment, so a nice break for my eyes and brain.
There is something about: taking the book in your hands, being able to touch it — and probably also to smell it! Flicking through pages or writing in the margins, tripping over words without a screen.
E-books are great for convenience, but printed books can elevate reading to a ritual. They make me realize that there is beauty in simplicity and peace behind the plug. A printed book is my choice when I need to connect with the story in an immersive sense because it grounds me.
And what about you?
